Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor, has unveiled Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit in partnership with Asset World Corp. The 416-room hotel, including 58 suites, marks Fairmont’s first property in Thailand and brings the brand to Bangkok’s Sukhumvit neighborhood.

Designed by Thai architecture and interior design firm PIA, the hotel takes inspiration from Thailand’s botanical heritage. Floral details appear throughout the property, including a lobby chandelier inspired by the ratchaphruek, Thailand’s national flower. The chandelier incorporates 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls.

In a media statement, Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, said: “Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont. Representing a pivotal step in Fairmont’s strategic expansion across Asia, this landmark property follows the much-anticipated debuts of both Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo. More than just a hotel, this magnificent social epicenter enables locals and global travelers to unite and celebrate, connect, and immerse themselves in the spirit of this vivid city, enabling us to truly Make Special Happen for everyone that visits.”

Dining and Entertainment

The hotel will have seven dining and entertainment venues opening throughout 2026. Harper’s is a North American-French brasserie, while AELA Social Bar moves from daytime lounge to cocktail bar after dark. CAYA Pool Club focuses on contemporary takes on Thai street food and cocktails.

Wiggle Room, scheduled to open in mid-September, will offer a cabaret-inspired supper club with live music, performances, cocktails and dining. Two additional rooftop restaurants are planned for December, including concepts focused on Italian-Japanese cuisine and contemporary Thai food.

Meetings and Events

For meeting and incentive groups, the hotel offers more than 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) of event space across three floors.

The centerpiece is the Signature Grand Ballroom, which has a 12-meter ceiling and dedicated arrival forecourt. The meetings offering also includes a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall and additional meeting spaces for smaller gatherings and private events.

The hotel also offers Fairmont Gold, the brand’s “hotel within a hotel,” with a private lounge, dedicated reception and concierge service.

Wellness and Sustainability

Wellness offerings include the Fairmont Spa, inspired by Thailand’s jasmine flower, as well as the Fairmont Studio for yoga, cardio and strength training. The hotel also incorporates wellness touches throughout the guest experience.

Designed to LEED Gold standards, the property includes water recycling, smart energy systems, EV charging, improved indoor air quality and a heat-reducing facade.

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is now accepting reservations for stays beginning Aug. 18, 2026.
