Located in the heart of downtown, the new Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is now taking reservations ahead of its February 2027 opening.
Set to be the city’s tallest hotel, the 800-room property will serve as a headquarters hotel for the Indiana Convention Center, with direct skywalk access. It’s also within easy reach of both Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, putting it squarely in the middle of the city’s convention and sports scene.
“With reservations now live, Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is one step closer to welcoming guests and locals to a hotel designed with today’s traveler in mind, whether visiting for a major convention, a sporting event or a weekend getaway,” said General Manager Kathy Heneghan in a media announcement.
The hotel will mark the first Signia by Hilton in both the Midwest and Indiana. It’s owned by the City of Indianapolis and operated by the Capital Improvement Board.
Hotel Design Races Ahead
Inside, the design leans into the city’s ties to auto racing, with interiors meant to evoke motion and energy. The property will include 800 guest rooms, including 70 suites, along with a public art collection that reflects both the design and the local culture.
Food and beverage will be a major focus, with seven concepts planned — from a lobby bar and all-day restaurant to a 38th-floor lounge with skyline views. There will also be rooftop pool dining, a market café, and Club Signia, a private lounge with its own food and beverage offerings.
Meetings are clearly a priority here. The hotel will have 100,000 sf of meeting space, including a 50,000-sf ballroom—the largest in Indiana—plus additional ballrooms, breakout rooms, and an outdoor event deck.
Other amenities will include a rooftop pool, fitness-focused guest rooms, and a wellness space geared toward recovery and performance.
When it opens, the property will join a growing Signia by Hilton portfolio, with locations already operating in cities like Atlanta, Orlando, San Antonio, San Jose, and Amman.
