In Orlando, Cvent’s #1 Top Meetings Destination for eleven years, planners can create well-attended and productive meetings and events of any size.

The destination is committed to service and has the meeting venues, ease of travel, accommodations, dining, entertainment and other amenities planners need, including the state-of-the-art Orange County Convention Center.

Orlando offers planners the ideal setting for productive, well-attended meetings and events of any size.

Orlando has developed into a major culinary destination with chefs and restaurateurs who consistently push boundaries and deliver exceptional dining experiences for groups of all sizes. The city’s vibrant dining scene is now home to 60 MICHELIN restaurants, which include six starred establishments, 14 Bib Gourmand selections, plus 40 Recommended restaurants.

Orlando International Airport continues to meet the growing needs of business air travelers with its $6.1 billion investment in projects that are expanding capacity, modernizing airport facilities, and further elevating the overall travel experience by 2030.

New or upcoming experiences and venues continue to give planners different options to include in their Orlando meeting agendas. The Orange County Convention Center has embarked on the Grand Concourse Expansion that will bring an additional 44,000 sf of meeting space and a 100,000-sf ballroom to the Center’s North-South Building upon its completion in late 2029.

The iconic Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin expanded its event capabilities with the opening of the two-story Peninsula Ballroom, which features more than 100,000 sf of new event space.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts is commencing an extensive $150 million project at the award-winning Rosen Plaza and the AAA Four Diamond Rosen Shingle Creek that will involve redesigning 2,300 guest rooms, suites and corridors at both hotels and upgrades within Rosen Shingle Creek’s 524,000 sf of event space. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2026 for Rosen Plaza and in 2027 for Rosen Shingle Creek.

In 2025, Orlando welcomed the destination’s first new theme park in 25 years with the grand opening of Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe. In 2027, the Epic will debut Celestial Expo, an all-new event space. Located in the Celestial Park area of the park, the 17,500-sf indoor venue can accommodate 700—1,000 guests.

At Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Convention Center, featuring 40,000 sf of space, reopened with updated enhancements and fresh finishes following a months-long refurbishment, while the convention center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which offers more than 228,000 sf of total function space, is undergoing a reimagining that will feature more contemporary touches and an updated color palette while still honoring the land, heritage and human expression of Mexico and the American Southwest.

Before or after the meeting, attendees can extend their stay and enjoy the destination. They can experience the world-famous theme parks, add some outdoor adventure to their trip by exploring Central Florida’s lakes, natural springs and bike trails, or explore our vibrant arts and culture scene.

When planners choose Orlando, they’ll discover—or rediscover—that Orlando is “Unbelievably Real.”
