Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa
The $60 million renovation of Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa is now complete and the 22-acre resort stands ready to welcome guests to Keauhou, a name that signifies a “New Era.” Perched on the cliffs of Keauhou Bay with spectacular ocean views across the Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, the transformed property includes 511 revitalized guest rooms/suites and meeting spaces artfully blending the property’s profound heritage and reverence for voyaging with modern aesthetics. Other choices include a 90-minute guided tour of the historic villages of Kaukulaelae and Keauhou Bay, the birthplace of King Kamehameha III. Newly announced this summer, the Feast & Fire Luau package includes accommodation and two complimentary general admission seats, inviting guests to take part in the vibrant cultural celebration.
Grand Hyatt Atlanta
Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead has announced the completion of its guest room and suite renovation, including the addition of the spacious and luxurious Grand Peach Suite and state-of-the-art Pure Rooms. With a total renovation of 439 guest rooms including 21 suites, this milestone marks a significant step in a multi-phase transformational renovation, elevating the hospitality experience and incorporating wellness standards. Known for hosting prestigious events—from intimate parties to high-powered business meetings to large-scale conventions—the hotel also offers a serene escape with its renowned Japanese Zen Garden, featuring a striking 30-foot waterfall.
Located on the 25th floor, the two-bedroom Grand Peach Suite offers panoramic views of the city and spans over 1,200 square feet, with distinctive round windows and modern décor that embodies Georgia’s rich heritage. Meanwhile, new Pure Wellness Rooms have undergone a seven-step purification process, ensuring that both the air and surfaces are free from allergens and toxins. Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead will continue its renovation efforts later this fall, focusing on the lobby, public and meeting spaces.
Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound, WA
Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound just celebrated the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation, marking the single largest and most extensive renovation in the lodge’s 16-year history. The $40 million renovation unveiled new additions and updates to the guest suites, water park, attractions, restaurants, conference center and more.
Guests will enjoy freshly refurbished suites, including an all-new suite category ‘Wolf Den Skylight Suites’ with “cave” sleeping, delicious dining including full-service concepts such as Fireside and Timbers Table & Kitchen and popular quick service eateries like Fatburger and Pretzelmaker. Groups looking for some friendly competition-style teambuilding will enjoy the live-action, expanded MagiQuest game and the Northern Lights Arcade, which added 1,000-sf of the newest games out there.
Meeting and event planners will be delighted to see that the nearly 20,000 square foot conference space received some upgrades, with new flooring, paint and fixtures. The property maintained its flexible conference space design to fulfill all kinds of meeting and event needs, with breakout rooms, built-in A/V technology and customizable catering options.
The Charleston Place
From annual sales conferences and awards banquets to board meetings and community events, The Charleston Place has the most comprehensive banquet and conference services in the Charleston area. As part of a $150+ million reimagination of the iconic hotel, 40,000 square feet of event space is being transformed from head-to-toe, with new and refreshed spaces debuting in September 2024. Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage and allure of the Lowcountry, all existing spaces will receive luxurious upgrades, including new paint, lighting, furniture, wall treatments, carpet and drapery, all in an elegant new color palette that seamlessly blends classical charm with modern sophistication.
New additions include two 1,350-square foot meeting rooms, a second set of restrooms, extended pre-function space, and the conversion of an existing meeting room into a flexible 1,100-square-foot VIP suite.
The Delano, South Beach
The iconic Delano brand launched in Miami in 1995, pioneering global lifestyle resort experiences. After closing during the pandemic and undergoing a major redo with a new owner, Ennismore, this icon of South Beach is scheduled to reopen in 2025.
Today, the Delano brand has evolved to include two concepts: the original Delano and the Maison Delano, which opened its first location in Paris in spring 2023. With the perfect balance between relaxation and sophistication, Maison Delano distills a unique philosophy engaging with a new generation of guests searching for the Delano experience in the heart of the city.
