Groups looking to get innovative in the heart of Silicon Valley will soon be able to do so at Hotel Nia, set to debut in Menlo Park, Calif., this April.

The 250-room hotel will be part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection and will feature more than 15,000 sf of meeting space—all of which includes the latest tech to attract the savvy entrepreneur types for which the area is known. All of the meeting space features natural lighting, while several rooms also include floor-to-ceiling contractible glass doors that open out onto private patios and outdoor space.

In addition to its creative meeting spaces, the property features a beautifully landscaped courtyard, infinity pool and outdoor gardens that set the stage for lawn games. Indoor and outdoor bars feature menus of seasonal craft cocktails, craft beers and local wine lists. Porta Blu, the property’s California-Mediterranean fusion restaurant, also dishes out men items that draw from regional ingredients. And the lobby café serves up local coffee from Verve Coffee Roasters, which roasts its coffee beans in nearby Santa Cruz.

To continue the local theme, the 11-story glass building exudes a modernist style with natural materials and curated artwork that pay homage to the native surroundings. International design firm McCartan created most of the design elements to be exclusive to the hotel. Highlights include the full-size horizontal blue doors hanging over Porta Blu and entire walls devoted to mural art. Even the individual guest rooms play off the tech industry with a “do not disturb” system that lights up with a red sleepy face icon to deter anyone from knocking.
