Loews Hotels & Co. has launched Active Stays, a portfolio-wide wellness program offering in-room workouts, destination movement experiences and recovery options at all U.S. properties.

Created in partnership with fitness trainer Makena Rae, the program is designed to make movement approachable and flexible for travelers, whether they have 10 minutes between meetings or an entire morning to explore a destination on foot. Unlike traditional hotel fitness programs focused on performance or training goals, Active Stays encourages guests to move at their own pace.

“At Loews Hotels, we’ve always believed hospitality is about enriching lives and creating moments of joy,” said Kristie Goshow, Chief Commercial Cfficer, Loews Hotels & Co. in a media release. “Active Stays was created around a simple idea: Movement, play, and wellness help us become happier, healthier versions of ourselves.”

Fitness That Comes to You

The program has two core pillars: Accessible movement experiences and recovery and restoration options.

Accessible starts in the room, as attendees can access a library of equipment-free workouts through their guestroom TVs. Developed with Rae, the digital series includes targeted workouts, mobility exercises, bodyweight strength and recovery sessions designed specifically for hotel rooms.

Movement, Your Way

Live! by Loews-Arlington.

Properties will offer destination-specific activities, including:

  • Loews Regency New York Hotel—A Run. Rest. Regency Marathon Package includes a $50 daily food and beverage credit, Central Park running map, themed amenity and late checkout. Runners can carbo-load at The Regency Bar & Grill and receive recovery perks at nearby Ancient Aire Bath. A lobby cart will offer runner essentials, and guests also receive branded pickleball paddles and balls.
  • In October, Live! by Loews–Arlington and Loews Arlington Hotel will partner with the City of Arlington’s Walktober initiative, bringing attendees and locals together. Walking maps will cover sports and entertainment venues, museums and Mark Holtz Lake in Richard Greene Linear Park.
  • Loews Chicago Hotel—A curated walking and jogging map follows Route 66 from the hotel to Navy Pier and other Mother Road-inspired landmarks throughout the city.
  • Loews Atlanta Hotel—Through an expanded partnership between exhale Atlanta and Salt Fitness, attendees can take Modern Pilates by Salt, coach-led Train by Salt strength and conditioning sessions, or use the Recover by Salt studio for contrast therapy, red light therapy and compression treatments.

Move Well, Recover Well

The program also includes refreshed food and beverage offerings focused on hydration and protein-forward choices, along with grab-and-go snacks and seasonal menu items available through restaurants, lounges and in-room dining.

Active Stays builds on Loews’ broader guest-wellness efforts as travelers in general increasingly look for ways to maintain healthy routines while away from home. A March 2026 Peloton survey of more than 3,000 active travelers found that 60% value fitness amenities as much as or more than other hotel perks, alongside growing interest in sleep quality, stress reduction and healthier food and beverage options.
