Meeting planners looking to stretch their budgets have several new booking incentives to consider.
Airlines, destinations and convention bureaus are rolling out offers that include discounted group airfares, hotel perks, booking bonuses and value-added experiences for meetings and incentive trips in 2026 and beyond.
Chill Out on Airfare
Finnair has launched a new winter 2026/27 group incentive for North American meeting planners. This equates to group fares from $800 from DFW, JFK, LAX and MIA, with a complimentary return ticket to Helsinki for every group of 20+ passengers.
- Finnair is the flag carrier, official airline of Santa Claus, and the national airline of Finland, the “World’s Happiest Country” for an unprecedented ninth consecutive year.
- Finnair flies year-round from New York JFK to Helsinki up to seven times a week, in addition to offering year-round flights from Dallas and Los Angeles, and winter seasonal service to Miami.
- Finnair offers easy connections via Helsinki to Rovaniemi (Santa Claus Village and Northern Lights) and Kittilä (Levi and Ylläs ski resorts) in as little as 40 minutes.
- Finnair has also recently completed the rollout of its new long-haul cabin, including brand-new Business Class seat, with all aircraft now refurbished.
With demand for Nordic winter experiences continuing to grow, this incentive is designed to help planners choose one of Europe’s most popular winter destinations. Contact the North American groups team: [email protected].
