SITESITE, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, is bringing its signature Global Conference back to New York City to celebrate the organization’s 50th anniversary.

The gathering, which last year was held in Dublin, Ireland, will continue SITE’s mission for its events to bring incentive professionals together to connect, learn, discover and shape their industry — all in the city where the organization was first formed back in 1973. The SITE Global Conference NYC is scheduled to be held Feb. 17–20 at the NY Marriott Marquis.

“I promise you, there will be experiences, events and education like no other,” said the event Co-chair Cosimo Burzzese in a welcome video.

SITE global“We are thrilled to welcome the SITE Global Conference back to New York City… We share a long history, having hosted the first-ever meeting of the Society of Incentive Travel Executives in NYC almost 50 years ago,” said NYC & Company President and CEO Fred Dixon when SITE announced it was heading back there in 2023.

Super-charged keynote speakers include Amelia Rose Earhart, who will share three non-negotiable business lessons she learned through her experience piloting a small plane 28,000 nautical miles around the globe.

Breakouts feature a number of learning labs, including the irresistibly named “The Art of Badassery: Unleash Your Mojo with Wisdom of the Dojo,” led by self-defense expert, author and empowerment coach Jennifer Cassetta. Other breakouts tackle the fine art of pitching, DMC pricing models, sustainability, employee acquisition and retention, safety and security, and how to transform incentive travel into a new driver for social change. SITE leadership also will take to the stage to talk about the challenges the industry has faced over the past 50 years, and how incentive professionals can continue to thrive in the next year and beyond.

The final day will be capped with a Great Gatsby-themed Off-Broadway 50th Anniversary Celebration. In addition to the educational agenda and networking events, incentive professionals can pre-register to take the CIS and CITP exams, and meet one-on-one with a certified coach who can help them move forward in their careers. And, being hosted in one of the world’s premier incentive destinations, SITE has worked with local partners to curate a series of “deep dives” that will introduce participants to “creative people, cool places and things you’ve never seen or done before,” according to SITE.

SITE also plans to use the Global Conference NYC 2023 to launch a year-long series of initiatives to celebrate 50 years of incentive travel excellence.
